Email: boojietoursportugal@gmail.com.

Phone and WhatsApp: +351 933 441 544.

2. What data we collect

When you book or contact us, we may collect your:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • phone number;
  • booking details such as tour, date, number of guests, pickup location and any special requests;
  • messages you send us by email WhatsApp or our contact form.

Payments are processed securely through our booking system, Bókun, and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card details.

3. How and why we use your data

We use your data to manage your booking and run your tour, to contact you about pickup details or changes, and to answer your questions before you book.

These uses are necessary to perform our contract with you or to respond to your request.

We also use it to meet legal and tax obligations, such as invoicing, and, based on our legitimate interest, to ask for a review after your tour.

You can opt out at any time. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your data with trusted providers that help us deliver our service:

  • Bókun, our booking and payment system, and its payment partners;
  • Google, for email and business tools;
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us;
  • our website hosting platform;
  • and any email or customer management tools we may use to manage your booking.

Your guide and drivers receive only what they need to run your tour. We may also share data with authorities when required by law. We never sell or rent your personal data.

5. Booked through a partner?

If you booked through Viator, Tripadvisor or GetYourGuide, that platform is responsible for the data you gave them under its own privacy policy.

It shares with us only what we need to run your tour.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States.

When this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep booking data for as long as needed to manage your booking, and invoicing records for the period required by Portuguese tax law (currently 10 years).

Messages that didn't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at boojietoursportugal@gmail.com. We'll reply within one month.

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can file a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.

9. Keeping your data safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
